Our site LiveSupportGroup.com (“LiveSupportGroup”) hosts interactive group meetings for our users. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our web site visitors; as such, this policy explains how we will treat your personal information.

Legal Disclosure

LiveSupportGroup reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

If LiveSupportGroup is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

Due to the webinar design, it is out of our control that sometimes a member’s name and email may be seen during a group. Members are not allowed to use such information to contact one another without written consent from both parties; this is your decision so if it is not what you prefer you can opt out at any time.

NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO ATTEND A LIVESUPPORTGROUP MEETING UNLESS HE/SHE IS A LIVESUPPORTGROUP MEMBER AND NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO SHARE ANY OF HIS/HER PERSONAL LINK INFORMATION FOR THE MEETINGS. What Information Do We Collect?

LiveSupportGroup is the sole owner of the information collected on the LiveSupportGroup.com web site /database. We collect personally identifiable information from our users at several different points on our Web site.

In order to participate in the group(s)/ meetings, we request that you provide your first name, last initial or full last name if you prefer, email address, and state of residence; providing your email address enables us to contact you about groups/new group(s), special groups and/or information we choose to send as well as when the groups, etc. will be taking place, and to provide you with links (instructions how to receive them) /specific dial-in details for accessing the meetings, etc. Furthermore, your name and email address may be visible to other attendees during the meetings due to GoToWebinar or any other platform that may be use to attend a group. Out of respect for your privacy, we also provide you with a way to unsubscribe if you prefer. Please see “Opting Out” for more details.

We may collect and store certain information automatically. This information will not be shared with anyone beyond the web site support volunteers and /or an authorized technical support technician; except when required by law enforcement investigation (such as to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or subpoena), and will be used only as a source of anonymous statistical information. This information may include:
Internet Protocol (IP) address of the domain from which You access the Internet, either Your individual address or the proxy provided by Your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Date and time You access our site.
Pages You view (recorded by the text and graphics files that compose that page).
Web address of the site from which You linked directly to our site.

We may use statistical data to help us make our site more useful to visitors, such as assessing what information is of most and least interest to visitors, and for other purposes such as determining the site’s technical design specifications and identifying system performance or problem areas.

Please note that we may capture audio recordings of the live group chat sessions for internal review so as to optimize our service and perform quality control. We may also offer these audio recordings to our members as a value-added service so please refrain from sharing personally identifiable information during the live group sessions. Note: We would let you know prior to the event if the session will be recorded for the members/public.

We do not sell, share, rent or trade transfer any personal information to third parties for their promotional use.

However, Your e-mail message, question, or comment may be forwarded to other LiveSupportGroup volunteers/BOD or authorized technicians who may be better able to help You. Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, we do not share our e-mail with any other outside organizations.

Data Retention

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services you may follow an Opt-Out link from any of our email messages. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Cookies

Cookies are minute pieces of information that Your browser stores on Your hard drive. Cookies help everyone in that they help to make navigation around the site more swift, and prevent you from having to enter certain information that You have already given us each time You visit the site. Web Beacons

Our web pages may contain electronic images known as Web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs) and are used along with cookies to compile aggregated statistics to analyze how our site is used and may be used in some of our emails to let us know which emails and links have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of our customer communications and marketing campaigns.

Our third party partners employ clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), images, and scripts that help them better manage content on our site. We use our own database and do not tie the information gathered to our Members’ or Users’ personally identifiable information except with the platform so an invitation can be given. The platforms used are not allowed to use any of your information and only for the sole purpose of providing you, the member/volunteer/BOD with a personalized link for the group.

Security

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personally identifiable information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Our servers are located in a secured facility and we employ firewalls for additional protection. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

If you voluntarily disclose any personally identifiable information in the live group meetings, those details may be collected by other attendees and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to disclose during the meetings.

Opting Out

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter (if applicable) /any information and promotional communications, you may opt out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter (if applicable) or communication.

Third-Party Merchant Policies

All rules, policies (including privacy policies) and operating procedures of Merchants will apply to You while on such sites. We are not responsible for information provided by You to Merchants. We and the Merchants are independent contractors and neither party has authority to make any representations or commitments on behalf of the other.
